Appreciation and Acceptance
Appreciation is something that we take for granted. We think its our right. What do you truly appreciate? A person? An idea? A belief? A cup of coffee or tea? A good looking man or woman? A particular food? What is it that you appreciate?
Do you appreciate yourself? Do you understand what appreciation means and is?
Appreciation is both an emotional force and a spiritual experience borne out of our human interaction with the world and each other.
Appreciation is the fusion of our senses and our impulse for love that merge together, appreciation is an aspect of contentment, of been at peace with where you are in your life, the acceptance of your difficulties as opportunity for becoming more than you were and are. Appreciation creates courage, humility and self-respect. How do you cultivate appreciation ?
Start by accepting where you are in your life right now. Start by accepting others as they currently are right now. Acceptance that all people and things change in their own time. Accept that the only thing you can change is yourself. In truly accepting this then you discover the portal to true self-love.
If you want major change in your life, accept where you are in your life. Then once having done this, then change towards healing, well-being and the realisation of your goals begins.
If you could give a gift to one that you loved, try the gift of acceptance.
