Starlight comes already old, a memory
but younger than the light within us

Starlight comes an echo of

the light that

lit the fuse for each star to burn so bright

Starlight a memory

of star already dead

except in the mind of the viewer

light lives long after the death of a star

we have memories like this

each one brilliant full of light
each one to burn so bright
have you seen the stars tonight?

Points of light

older than earth

younger than the light that dwells within

you are ageless, timeless

light within you

calls out to shine

every memory of your life

a reflection, a refraction

of the light

that dwells

within

your psyche,

the soul that calls to be made

your spirit the connection to unknown things

all in the light older than the stars

look to the starlight and you will see

a memory of the spark the flew from

the light that dwells within

and lit up matter,time, and space

with light

that ever present

within your presence

that is light

that dwells within

all things
