Christopher Hansard:[Re-Create]

Indivisible, yet divided

angular yet the mother of all cycles

staccato

yet

andante

impermeable

yet

permeated

our minds

create

and re-create

yet know nothing of freedom

but without the harmonising of the mind

and thus the world

how can inner freedom be known and understood?

Christopher Hansard:[ The Rain ]

The rain drops

each one

contains

a memory

of our ancestors

calling

to us

in the memory of the seasons

every element has a history

that combined makes the memeory of the Earth

the waking dream of life

and the wakefulness of death

there is a single prayer

in everything

that unites and heals

making and unmaking

restoring

and renewing

Christopher Hansard:[Your Breath]

Can you count the years in which you knew what your heart truly felt?

Every year is a whisper of the divine within you

have you ever felt the silence that dwells within the heart

and opened your everyday life

to the simplicity of the natural way

breathe in, breathe out

then you will find

that the divine

is just a breath away

and the cycles of nature, humanity,

the etchings of history

are the pauses

between your breath

Christopher Hansard:[Will You?]

Will you live to see the final sunburst?

will you live to see the new earthrise

as sun and moon give way?

will you live to see

the birth of your far distant ancestor

evolving ?

will you live to see the showers of the stars

rise and fall along the rivers of the cosmos ?

will you live

as you descend into human form

and know the beauty

of the everyday miracle

which is the building block of all things?

time, space and consciousness

all,

are created by the mind

that you have made

Christopher Hansard:[Source of Identity]

The rush and rumble of the media

causes people to stop reading what they see in newspapers and on TV

forgetting how to think

they focus on mediocrity

thinking changes what you believe

and belief makes you what you are

mediocre? directed by the media?

conflict is the source of identity

in the modern world

Aristotle’s legacy misdirected

from a Socratic plinth

on which the pious and the political

aspire to inspire

Christopher Hansard:[ Touch]

There is through touch

an awakening of senses

touch is the link to the evolving soul

you can feel touched by everything

if you allow yourself

to reach out and touch

the truth in everything

Christopher Hansard:[ People seek Uncertainty]

People seek uncertainty

its a principle that they can be sure of,

it is better to believe

than to know

to know is to be responsible

to believe is to allow a margin of rational doubt

and give responsibility away

when you experience uncertainty

it is a form of fear and unknowingness

Christopher Hansard:[ The First Answer]

The First Answer

existed in of itself

well before

the first question

Christopher Hansard:[The Last Angel]

The Last Angel

fell to Earth

and became the first man

as the first man fell to earth

the first man

created the first angel

who had the wings to fly?

or the impulse to fall?

Christopher Hansard:[ Marker]

In the falling light

when mankind’s memories are made

in the cracks created by uncertainty and doubt

in the lip of the horizon

there lies a marker

waiting to be

drawn
