the world economy

is shrinking

time now

for large thoughts

compassionate words

gentleness

and forgiveness

and it is time

to be thankful

looking up through leaves

to sky

the fingering of trees

etch their patterns in the air

displacing their space

and revealing their roots beneath the earth

if you want to know the roots of something,

anything, look upwards to that which

is at the highest point of the tree

Breath

is the resource

from which

all things come

and return to

Today in Switzerland

around a circle

protons

streamed

eventually to be

collided

together

to reveal

the origin

of things

of the big bang

you can see that in a small town any Saturday night

all of these protons colliding

worlds, each one colliding

some are worried about black holes been made

others coo and soothe saying that happens anyway

in our atmosphere and we are ok

but what happens when its turned on

day after day, year after year

when it leaks into the dark matter of humanity

and a collision takes place

people are protons

to

what of the unseen wave of protonic emotion

waiting to collide ,to be set free?

Time

comes

to those

who wait

and to those

who know that

time

is but a yardstick

time reveals its

essential

uselessness

its great gift

that we, all of us,

you, me

have all the time in the world

even when it feels

that the world is running out of time

the univerese is not a wound up spring

and there is no master clockmaker

or one who holds the key

to the clock face

the planets will move in accordance with inner things

while the Earth expands in every place and thought

To all the trees that have grown

through the years of sweat and history

to those that grew and regrew

the seeds that hold the

cycle of up and down

who are guardians of our heritage

who regulate the world

if you want to know the truth of things

seek out one of these ancient ones,

Living Elders of the Earth

then all that you know and do not know

will make sense

and you will undestand the path of growing

A holy man was brought food each day by people for him to eat.

After receiving this food he would give it all away to those

he regarded as less fortunate than himself

after a while the holy man died

on his way through the inbetween relams

of life and death and life

a passing god grabbed him firmly by the shoulder and said

‘You, you are trying to make your way to heaven aren’t you?’

‘Yes’ , said the holy man

‘Well,’ said the god,’you won’t get in,

don’t you know

that?’

‘What do you mean,’ replied the astonished holy man

‘In order to find heaven you have to know how to receive,’ replied the impatient god

‘I received all that I was given,’ said the holy man

‘No!,’ said the god, ‘as soon as you were give you gave it away again, you did not receive the givers

just what was given, you did not partake in what they gave you before you passed it on’

said the god looking at the bemused holy man

‘I understand,’ said the holy man, ‘What now?’ he said to the god

‘Go back and life your life over as yourself and learn to receive truly ,

learn to receive as if you were those who gave..’said the god

..and that is what happened…
