Christopher Hansard:[ peace in all things]

can you take some time

and pause

to sense that

peace

dwells

in

all

things

as your inner self

looks through

the gauze of your senses

it perceives

that

peace

dwells in all things

peace dwells and arises in all things

even in anger, violence, despair

laughter and love

in persecution

and in

liberation

all of which are seasons of the mind

and all of them

fade into the horizon

which is peace

in peace

there is only itself

it is not the refraining from action of thought

but the absence

Christopher Hansard:[ sense the sacred]

can you sense the sacred?

that it dwells

within your taste,

touch, smell

hearing, vision

that it rises up and down

swells

in your

innermost

presence

where

Life

dwells

waiting

to be

acknowledged

Christopher Hansard:[ Language]

Having spoken

for most of your life

a language

in order to hear yourself

or to speak

the language

has often

caused

you not to be

who you are

the increase of language

without silence

confuses identity

Christopher Hansard:[ blessed]

let all things in your life

be blessed

let all people

in your life

be in the mantle

of blessedness

and life

to be blessed and to bless

is to confess and know

that we are

the same

Christopher Hansard:[ profit or loss]

When a charismatic politician

at any point in history

gives people what they want

he is treated as if he were a saint

when a saint comes along

he is treated as if he is a political revolutionary

one gives what people want because they can’t do it for themselves

the other speaks the fears of peoples’ deepest hearts

and tells people:

do if for your self

people see both in terms

of

profit or loss

Christopher Hansard:[ awakening]

to be mindful

is  to be

awake

in everything you are

do

can be

to mindful is to be

prepared

to live

in the

still point of life

while everything else

around you

changes

and yet

the change

is

welcomed

but not judged

Christopher Hansard:[ There is no death]

There is no death

only life reformed

life does not die or pass away

but slowly fades

until its shadow

inspired by a secret breath

arises in a form, new and timely

the only things that die

are those demons deep within us

and they die because

the demons seek the light

there is no death

only reformed

transmogrified

transmuted

through hidden waves of light

and in that light

there is a voice

 a guiding intelligence

borne

not of gods or angels

but of humankind

stating that

‘all humankind is the first born’

and in that transcendental way

gods and angels bow their heads

whispering,

‘it is this, for which we pray’

Christopher Hansard:[ You are We]

You are We

I is Us

Them is Me

we are not our thoughts

our thoughts are not who,

when or why we are

you are not your thoughts or fears or beliefs

go beyond your prejudices

and you will go beyond

all that you feel,

know, sense, believe

 love , hate

hold to be true or untrue

is a

prejudice

that stops you

from knowing

who and what

the

‘Is’

within

can be

in a life

and world

without

prejudice

and

attachment to thoughts

Christopher Hansard:[ all we have]

all we have

is the knowing within

all we are is the knowing within

regardless of how it may be expressed

in the every day world

the every day world is the every day mind

this world and mind is what you think you do

and who you think you are

however,

thoughts are not reliable

neither is what you do

as an indicator

of who you can be

Christopher Hansard:[ the times]

the times in which we live

are the traces

of ourselves

the times in which we live

are the blossoms of what was

the times in which we live

are the times in which we are

so embrace them in full courage

and laugh,

smile,

love the ups and downs

and breathe in the wisdom

that they offer
