the naked beauty of the soul

that dwells in the heart of all living beings

is formed and fashioned by

the human mind

and elevated

by the

passing of day and night

to form

a single strand of time

that can be entered

with a single thought

that is:

‘To know the time in which you live, and the coursing of the days

know yourself, and you will be the eye of time

and the voice of eternity’

what do you value?

what is your goal?

who are you

in the understanding of your core values

and pursuit of your goals?

the wind blows where it shall

the sea will find a shore

each planet will turn

these things do as they must

where are your cycles of understanding

and becoming?

Swine Fever

runs through

the greedy

Swine Flu

attacks the immune system

Pandemic

shock

brings

the slowdown

health before swine

cast like pearls

roll down the gutter

into the drains

the economy ground to a pause

its immunity compromised

so

the flu

it will not last long

Mexico City

needs the tourists

no self-respecting pig becomes ill

through lack of hygeine

Who

is

the

who

that

makes

the you, me and I?

do you know?

The I?

The Me?

The You?

in a pause between breaths

the answer

waits

take time to be

not a mirror

or a glass

but reflective

from the soul

wisdom is

the distillation

that knowledge

gives to itself

understanding

comes from

true compassion

and its fruits

are forgiveness and non judgement

wisdom is a solitary experience

compassion is objective yet inclusive

the shadow

falls

where

the light falls also

the shadow

seeks

the light

for it is light

and all light

seeks it self

we are all

light

in search

of the

return

The movement of the earth in space

and the waters and the wind upon its face

all turn together

to the time

when it shall be still

so too

for the orbiting nature of the human race

and all of us within it

there will come a time

when stillness will arise

all will be still

not a pause, or gasp

or trumpeted event

but a quiet dawning

in the understanding

of becoming

human,

man,

woman

Be thankful

for the

blessings in disguise

that come

unexpectedly

in life

even waking from sleep

is a blessing in disguise

as is waking from a sleeping life or death

some take the fast path to success

others take the slow

others rise as a meteor to the heavens

then fade

others

stay lit in the firmament

yet all of it is the slow path

it is the human way of evolution

all things in this world are the slow path
