From time within the womb

and until

we are thrust from the womb

we are listening

and as we listen

we know

we are listening to sacred words

for everything

is

poetry

the poetry of how, why, when,now, then

past, present

future seen

the sacred words

that

unravel dreams

the words we knew when womb entwined

are those to which in life

we are blind

but if we listen

to the sacred

growing

then each and every word

reveals

its sacred knowing

and pronouncement too

the sacred words

that are me and you
