in silence

you can see

the structures

of your mind

in noise you can see

how the structures of your mind

take form

and then you find

there is no noise or silence

just the self

in search of itself

the world is not here

it is in the self

that powers your daily mind

give up the structures

and the self

reveals

its

nature

sockeye are quick

coho are slow

orcas are curious

tourists no show

all is well

in the smoke

the ancestors walk slowly

from the plains to the sea

the arrow falls where it shall

in the smoke

the whispering

says of the coming

to be

there is a surge

coming

slowly

building

deep

in the

psyche

of all the people of the world

a thumping pounding

grating irritation

an inflamation of a supressed consciousness

it needs to burst out

so that healing may begin

watch for the signs of the tremors

watch for the surge in the speech and behaviour

of the media, leaders, migrating birds

watch for the day when all the whales

rise to the surface and are still

watch for the birth of white animals

watch for the day when old mysteries

rise to the surface and are still

on that day

the surge will spill

you think you watch the wind

and see the changes coming

yet the changes now

are squeezed from a more distant past

we turn together  on this small earth

a calendar of hope and confusion

give up the watching

and sit in the heart of all

then you start

becoming

let the wind become

the watcher

and you

the scribe

the solstice is but a reflection

of the process

of mind and matter

while the waves may lap

on your favourite beach

or the snow fall on the sharp peak

or the blood dries in the sun in the dust of  Xinjiang

the solstice reflects the light

and the darkness

of the

mind and matter

that together fused

forms

the ascent to evolution

we are not our thoughts

yet we become bound by them

we are not our actions

yet we can be described by them

we are not our beliefs

yet we can be shaped by them

we are not our emotions

yet we can experience our emotions as

being all that there is

we are and we are not

our thoughts

we are

responsible one for the other

and yet we are not our thoughts

we are responsible for what another thinks

and its effect upon the world

just as a raindrop contains all the water of the world

so one thought holds the entire planet

in balance

vision

can be

without

light

vision

generates

its own

light

by its nature

light is made

and directed

light

is

consciousness

on every level

of materialism

and

is the beginning

middle and end

light and vision

are who we

are and shall

be

those who engage in

persecution

act out their own inner pain

 by their actions

they lose themselves

to anger and self-deception
