when wisdom comes to you

know deep within the transient mind

that you call yourself

there dwells a greater

place

that can not be

taken or diminished

by the actions of this world

for every shaft of light that comes from the morning sun

there is  a brighter shaft

of wisdom ,translucent

and self made

for you are everdwelling

wisdom

the stuff of now and always

the laws of universe

and  the ordinary and the sublime

what are youir opinions

onions, are they like onions?

all in a layer

do they make you cry when they are peeled?

your world

comes and goes

rises and falls

stands seemingly still

then rushes on or stalls

your world

is made

by your everyday mind

all attachments and reckoning

healing

is a process

not a cure

healing is a journey

not a destination

healing is a process not an outcome

healing is you

when you find balance

in all activities

in doing and not doing

in being and not being

across the waves of starlight

moon light, planet light

all light is old

we have sailed our souls

like little boats with a full sail billowing

in the stellar wind

we have sailed in our soulboats

across great divides and inbetweens

on crests and falls of creations

spent and yet to be

all travellling

for each soul is a nomad

in search of itself

for the travelling is the path

Do you know

the vast scope of your humanity?

Do you know its orgins

the wave of the first pulse

the place before time

when you

started

the path towards

individuality

and consciousness?

where is your humanity?

you can find it in the trees

the mud and sea

the uncooked dreams

and the ripeness of youth

in that which you despise

and in that which you adore

humanity is the first impulse

and the last

for in the experience

that moves through our species

humanity is the vehicle by which

we can make our individual souls

and evolve

from apex to apex

valley to valley

the future

is to be found

in the moments

squeezed  into memory

from times of thought, taste

and self-seduction

can you recall a memory

that you believed to be totally true

and then found it to be false?

so it is with the future…

the future does not exist

not because it is yet to come

or that you are dwelling in

the transcendent now

but because the future

is a memory

of how the past might be

if only you had

a different view

the family you are born into

is where you have come from

and carves the grooves

into which all your relationships of all kinds

will flow

like sacrificial wine

to mark the ebb and flow of time

you are prepared

for becoming

the community of one

Social change

is the change

of thought

and behaviour

if individuals do not change within themselves

due to external demands and internal conflict

social change

becomes

social pollution

another form of advertising

another form of avoidance
