take the gift

of winter

and find renewal

in the chill and thaw

in the freeze

and urban chaos

As You sit down to Christmas dinner

do you recall

that millions do not

not because they are starving

but because

they are neither

gross consumers or christians

strange how a small middle eastern cult

was hijacked

by empire and consumerism

and trumped up to be

a world religion on that premise

for all world religions are made so

not by by piety or mystery

but by politics and the suffering

of the ordinary

exegesis

is everywhere

and

so is the addiction

to doubt and fear

look to your own governance

in all things of the world

and to your neighbourhoods and communities

as places of education, the growing of food

and identity

in the coming times

after the first great wave

there will be one of ice

and fire

and a third,made of dust

then the rain and life

and green again

therefore look to your own governance

so your ancestors

may walk upright

free from shame

people search

out arguements

to define

their sense of worth

Climate Change

in

Copenhagen

is small change

a curency of fear

splashed about

a smattering of copper coins

in the rain

fear needs to be addressed first

then policy

then self-interest

then the challenge and the threat

of mutual cooperation

Social change

is

all about

you

and

personal change

becomes

social change

there is no difference

do you have the courage

to embrace thechange

within you

and by that

change your world,

the World

your Earth,

Our Earth

There is old light

hidden

in the earth

ancient waves of

how things were

frozen in the

precious reserves

of the earth

gold is not just

a precious metal

people do not really not why they truly desire it

it is part of ecosystem’s immune defence system

as many other precious metals are

oil

not for cars

but for

making

earth

stick and bind

to become well furrowed clod

old light

is in the earth

when winter comes

take the time

to reflect upon

the seasons in your heart

the times of chill and ill weathered past

and there cast a seed

strong in well considered change

and there leave it to

seed itself

to grow

gentle actions

create powerful events

but there are times

when force of intent and action

are required to

create

powerful and definitive

results
