clarity

dwells

in the clamour of the world

luminous, self-existant

clarity dwells in the rush of your thoughts

in your most private despair

in the glamour glued in your fractures

in the late night when trains pass by

and a distant radio is like a man lost at sea

calling, calling

even in this

there is clarity

for if you seek clarity through religion

you will find that god does not know who he is

or in creating money or art

clarity flickers for a time

and falls back

so in your most human moments

call out for clarity

and you will find

clarity is with you

singing quietly

in the twilight

that you call your life
