Christopher Hansard:[ do you know where you are going to?]
do you
know
where
you are
going
in the rush
of your history
and the tenancy of your life
for each of us dwell a short time
in a room we call a life
do you know
where you are going to?
the world is full of condemnation
pollution of the mind which is the world,
where love seems a fantasy
but if you love yourself
and others
you take responsibility
for your place in the world
do you know where you are going to?
have you seen the path upon which you walk
when others call you to a way of convenient behaviour
stop and say
‘ I choose to walk a different path’
for real change does not come just in the moments of challenge
and discontent
but in happy days of comfort and dreaming forgetfulness
