Christopher Hansard [ Fragile, we are...]
Fragile
we are..
stuttering towards our end resolve
whilst Nature
inexorably knowing its own course
will carve it ways throughout
our collective psyche
humanity is like a fragile soprano
amidst machine gun fire
of the rising force
of cycles that
fulfil themselves
as a single leaf falls
shall so the human race
I once told a film director
that the poles will shift
and the north shall be south
all of which is but a shift
of the axis of the poles
fragile..we are
and because of our fragility
humanity will transmute
and find a new
garden upon which to till
an ancient soil
Life has its own path
and every species may join the journey as best it can
fragile, we are…
yet we are born of life
from the first earth rise
in countless futures ago

Christopher Hansard:[ celebrate]
celebrate
who you are
and where you have been
in your life til now
celebrate the heartache and the challenges
the beauties and the joy
celebrate the experiences
that you have every day
for nothing is mundane
and all that there is
is full of life’s voice
that sings of celebration
and renewal

Christopher Hansard:[ we are]
we are
that which
others feel
we are that which others
hope to be
we are the humidity of humanity
the sweat of the collective whole
each drop an innocent light
in search of innocence
we are that which we most admire
that which we despise
we are, each of the other
a causal link
each other’s
birth, death and
release
from ignorance
we are
what hurts one
always hurts the other
pain and suffering can often be
like a slow changing in the landscape
so used to our surroundings
we do not notice
the erosion
we are climate change
and the shortening seasons
we are the diminishing species
and the evolving planet
we are

Christopher Hansard:[ the origins of humankind]
the origins of humankind
do not dwell in the past
but in the rhapsody of the mitochondrial ‘now’
in the thrum and rush of the human swell
the jostling and bruising of life’s long pulse
in the windswept plains of dreaming
do not look to bones of the ancestors that are in dust and lament
but to their bones that coexist in your breath

Christopher Hansard:[ the perfect view]
the perfect view
the greatest landscape
the most breathtaking
vista
is inside of you
the wonders of nature were not made for you to admire
but for themselves as a system of being
look inside
the world of
You
and there you will see
the perfect view
the everlasting
cycle of becoming and being
the fire of life
that is
You
If you seek to save the ecology of the planet
you are saving your self
if you seek to save society
you are saving your self
if you seek to love others
you seek to love your self
if you seek encourage others to live simply
then you seek to do that for your self
all of these are lenses upon
which to see the
perfect view
the fleeting perfume
the harmonious chord
that springs
(in A major to G minor to those that can hear)
from the perfect view

Christopher Hansard:[ peace is to be found]
Peace is to be found
where you are
whatever your circumstance
whatever you think or feel
peace is to be found
in your breath
heartbeat
in the ground
under your feet
in the space around you
peace dwells
in everything

Christopher Hansard:[ actions]
slowly
surely
quietly
the right actions
are been taken
so that the accords
shall be made
correct

Christopher Hansard:[ in dreams]
In dreams
you can see
all the time
that stitches your life
unravel and by that cast a new design
if you catch your dreams on the inward breath
between waking and sleeping
and with a long breath out
you can stitch your life again
sewn by breath dreams and intention
for you are eternal magic in
a mortal urn
living,dying
in dreams.in life
in turning
to return
between the
two
in dreams
you can find
a door
to the place of non-dreaming
of not sleeping
of being and becoming
awake
