Christopher Hansard:[ time]
time has its own design
it moves according to the cycles of its own momentum
and sentient life is battered by it
unless consciousness is lifted up
and harnesses the fluctuation of time
for within time is light sound and consciousness
like a magician’s hat
time writes its own rules
unless you learn how to become timeless
in the worlds of time and space

Christopher Hansard:[ the times of change and rememberance]
The times of change and rememberance
are coming now, too soon, for some
and charm and policies of government
will not allay their calls,
voices full of shrieking winds and harpy media sirens
rushing to announce doom and gloom and the end of domestic consumerism
whether by sea or land or broken promises
the land will shift by ten degrees
and what was desert will desirable sea front property
and oceans wills cover the agricultural past
electronics and communication will be reduced to what they are
and time will have dominion over the working day once more
sunset and sunrise will be understood for what they are
seasons will return as will equinoxial wisdom
and community and living
will be dependent upon the individual

Christopher Hansard:[ allow]
Can you allow other people
to live their lives
without seeking to change them
through your opinions, words and thoughts
people like thoughts
crowd around the
a point of fusion
and adhesion
what could that point be?
it is the point within everyone
where
identification becomes confused
between
the thinking self and the observing self

Christopher Hansard:[ what is your world made of?]
what
is your
world
made of ?
habits, impressions, beliefs,
convenience
routines and ambitions
hopes and desired outcomes?
what if these all evaporated
due to external events?
how many layers of varnish
on your life protect between
what you currently have
and sudden events outside of your control?

Christopher Hansard:[ Koran Burning]
The Christian pastor
who plans to burn
the Holy Koran
is a fundamentalist
of the worst kind
he seeks to use religion and a sacred text
as a pretense for racism
and hate
fundamentalists like him
are against nature and humankind
for all such people worship at the temple of intolerance
what should you do about this?
send him love and care
but put water on the fire of his hate
burning the koran sets a fire
deep within the hearts of us all
we each will hold a cinder
of that shameful fire

Christopher Hansard:[ you are the ecosystem]
you
are the
ecosystem
the mycellium
and the fruit
your thoughts, actions
deeds
directly affect and influence
both the natural and man made worlds
………………………………….
the world is full
of amazing people
heroes, heroines,
people who have triumphed over great odds
you are one of them
yet unrealised
whatever you have achieved
it is but a shadow
of who you really are
you are the
ecosystem
a flowering pea
a new language
an undiscovered dimension
a planetary force in human form

Christopher Hansard:[ living your life]
When you feel that you alone can not make a difference
to the way the world is going
stop
and live your life as best you can
being true as you are able
to your self
if you do not know who you are
then pause
and be as good a person as you can
and then your Self will know you
by way of an introduction of peace and grace
through the gift of everyday living
