there is a

path to your

Self

it is not straight

but winding

for it occupies

acts of randomness

and a myriad of thoughts

but if you look

gently but constantly

you can see the path

its edges covered by the

overgrowth of life

and then once you know it is there

it clears and shows you the way

all that you have

is contained

in your breath

in your heart

speech and action

everything else is but adornments

baubles, trinkets and diversions

fun as they maybe and delightful for a time

things in the end

return

to your breath

to love

and to understand love

you need

to love the life you have

regardless of its circumstance

to love

to love the life you have

is the bedrock

of all loving

looking to your self

what do you see?

can you distinguish the fog and that which is truly you

can you look in at the many parts of

your every day mind that

seek to

define

‘who you are’

the everyday mind is the world of mixed signals

and  transformation

the inner you beneath

observes

and does

not comment

the nature of nature

is to express itself

as information

fragments spliced by time,

cooked by space

offered up for its own delight

the nature of nature

is to be

take the time

to distill

the way you

relate

to time

the hours in a day

the way you see the past

view the future

or climb the now

no  matter

where you are

no matter where you think you are

no matter what you believe yourself to believe

in matter

in thought

which is matter

there is

presence

in

all things

the ever knowing
