Christopher Hansard:[ Presence in all things]
no matter
where you are
no matter where you think you are
no matter what you believe yourself to believe
in matter
in thought
which is matter
there is
presence
in
all things
the ever knowing
You

Christopher Hansard:[ obstacles]
any obstacle
no matter
the form, function or way in which you first encountered it
is but
a form of energy
whether it be
intellectual, emotional, financial, legal , psychological or spiritual
all energy descends in order to be
experienced
if you can totally receive it
then you will turn it around

Christopher Hansard:[ things are]
things that make up all the building blocks of your life
are what they are
by changing your relationship to and with them
they too will change
and create a new cycle of being
if you want change in your life
be with what ‘is’
and then by doing so
change
presents it itself
as opportunity

Christopher Hansard:[ traces are everywhere]
the traces flow everywhere
in shadows and in light
in footsteps, half remember sentences
in memories and futures dreamed
the traces flow everywhere
once the hunters slowly become the hunted
and they are forced into narrow canyons
like spear throwers or whalers in a high sea borne canoe
the fatal strike
slips gently
traces flow
with a slow and worn breath
traces no longer
are to be found
but in the echoes
of their
fears

we, each of us
are
in between
the was and when
the is and now
the why and how

Christopher Hansard:[ wisdom waits]
wisdom waits
while impatience hammers at the unlocked door
compassion is seemingly passive
while cruelty gains all the headlines
negative actions, thoughts and beliefs
are portrayed as glamourous
wisdom waits
your whole lifetime
to be welcomed in
wisdom is not about happiness
but about knowing,
what is and accepting that
without interpretation or motive
wisdom waits
it has no opinion
only itself

Christopher Hansard:[ Change Is Not What You Think It Is
Change is not what you think it is
those who call for the end of days
or the increasing unrest to be quelled
should pause
listening to the human swell
that murmurs quietly in the flux
people want to know how to be comforted ,educated and empowered
through the window of their own wisdom
change is not what you think it is
the Earth has its own way
as does the systems of Nature
if we started to address the pollutions within us all
the the world, the earth, the natural pulse would
rush out to join us
change is not what you think it is
we are blind to our own history
for history is an eye that sees unblinkingly
and has a voice that never stops chanting its refrain
while The World, the Earth and the Natural Systems
will follow their own paths of change
change is not what you think it is

Christopher Hansard:[ in dreams]
In dreams
you can see
all the time
that stitches your life
unravel and by that cast a new design
if you catch your dreams on the inward breath
between waking and sleeping
and with a long breath out
you can stitch your life again
sewn by breath dreams and intention
for you are eternal magic in
a mortal urn
living,dying
in dreams.in life
in turning
to return
between the
two
in dreams
you can find
a door
to the place of non-dreaming
of not sleeping
of being and becoming
awake

Christopher Hansard:[ the raindrop]
does the raindrop
return from whence it came?
from sea, or lake, stream or breath?
from puddle, sewer, steam?
all of this
is moisture
in your breath
every raindrop
water in your body
swishing
in the twilight ponds
where your soul bathes
before being discovered,
naked
by the winds of change and becoming
the raindrop is all of us
falling, evaporating
becoming rain again

Christopher Hansard:[ December 2022]
December 2022
shall be remembered
when the earth
almost
split in
two
and those
who did not understand
shall forget who they were
before and during
