Christopher Hansard: [ The Prayer Cycle]

There dwells within your life and every life, the prayer cycle. It is that process of  consciousness that occupies everything we are, do and feel, hate, love and are bored with.

Even without us knowing it, the prayer cycle continues, the prayer cycle is wordless has no sound, does not praise any god or humankind, but actualises itself through the experiences that make us who we are and gives the gift of dissatisfaction and the desire for knowing. If you stop for a time, you can feel the prayer cycle going on within you and all living beings, some slower, some faster, some louder some so quiet as you think nothing is there, but the prayer cycle is everywhere and everything.

Christopher Hansard:[ Presence in all things]

no  matter

where you are

no matter where you think you are

no matter what you believe yourself to believe

in thought

which is matter

Christopher Hansard:[ still]

rushing

stressed

tired

exhausted at the end of the day

still hurting after all the years have passed by?

in the essence of these

still

clear

understanding

how to you find this?

put away judgments and habits

and accept

and receive the

Christopher Hansard:[ and so it is]

Did Turgenev ever waltz with butterflies?

or Picasso embrace the shrew?

Did Tolstoy walk with tigers

or Lord Byron dance with wolves?

what of badgers talking with Socrates

or Plato brush the hair of a wild dog?

such things may be possible

and so it is

when Napoleon seduced the first republic

and put it in his shoe and spread his muck across the land

maybe he was seeking a furrow of his ransacked  birth land?

when  Ghandi was happy to slander the West

and Spencer Tracy ripped off his vest

and Raphael would not speak of light

in case Bernini would steal it and put it into flight in marble

and issac newton would discover the sweat of time

and gravity would become a moral paradigm

and Pindar’s verses would become a nursery rhyme

and Adam Smith’s the wealth of nations

the reasons for democracy

you will a rhyme..

‘and so it is’

and, so it ‘is’

for time and space are but the tools of light

and all the colours of thought

and strife

can be found in the lapping shore

where mud wading birds with slender bills

tilt the balance of the world’s trading floors

stop to consider

if Benjamin Franklin ever rolled with whores

while dreaming of an independent shore

or Euclid in his sad refrain

wondered if there was consciousness

in pain

but in the wild shores of

the dreaming coasts

where salmon ran on the hands of ghosts

did the unknown knowers of the ancient times

ever dream of yen, pounds and dimes?

and so it is

Christopher Hansard:[ the impulse]

So comes

the impulse

from the deep

before the ancient times

to make each thing

into form

and by having form so display its nature

from the deep

in the essence of

the

deep

came

the

impulse

making and remaking

each event for itself

in this time of year

pause to see

through the stories and the myths

the consumerism and the gloss

into the deep

there all those that came  and come

come to light the way

are but parts of the same fragrance

unknown, known, not known, yet to be known

those few who ever dwell

in the deep

in the impulse

stop,

pause,

breathe

you can smell the deep

taste it, touch it,

hear it

see it, if you want too

the deep

the impulse

the ever

Christopher Hansard:[ solstice eclipse]

the red moon

bathes in earth light

on the shortest

day of the year

this is the time to overcome all of your longstanding fear

invoke the earth and moon

to join as they once were

and in that joining

displace the negativity and pain

earth and moon

bring healing to

the inner world

and the outer too

their reflective lights

merging

to uplift the natural world

Christopher Hansard:[ living your life]

When you feel that you alone can not make a difference

to the way the world is going

stop

and live your life as best you can

being true as you are able

to your self

if you do not know who you are

then pause

and be as good a person as you can

and then your Self will know you

by way of an introduction of peace and grace

through the gift of everyday living

Christopher Hansard:[ the nature of your words]

the words you speak

are the seeds of your actions

whether they be thoughts or deeds

the nature of your words

determine the nature of your world

if you wish to rapidly free yourself from unhappiness or suffering

be aware of the nature of your words,

the how and why of why and how  you speak them

and if they are

a creation of unhappy and self-limiting thoughts

the world, the earth is but the nature of our words
