Christopher Hansard: [ the inner quake]

when sitting still

in the tidal flow of your breath

pause in the pause between the breath

and there

the inner quake is ready to be released

if you will to know stillness

you must first know the storm

Christopher Hansard:[ the path to your Self]

there is a

path to your

Self

it is not straight

but winding

for it occupies

acts of randomness

and a myriad of thoughts

but if you look

gently but constantly

you can see the path

its edges covered by the

overgrowth of life

and then once you know it is there

it clears and shows you the way

Christopher Hansard:[ Presence in all things]

no  matter

where you are

no matter where you think you are

no matter what you believe yourself to believe

in matter

in thought

which is matter

there is

presence

in

all things

the ever knowing

You

Christopher Hansard:[ human experience]

human experience

forms the world in which you live

it shapes your dreams and aspirations

the way you feel and suffer

the pain the pleasure and the meaning

of your life

human experience is the gravity of the every single human being

upon this planet

the experience of another is also your legacy

as you breathe so do millions

we are the impulse of the other’s experience

we are the world

the form that holds

the spartk

of life

that expresses the human experience

therefore by caring for another

by healing and by building up

well being for another

so you do this for every one

a selfish life is an isolated life

like a small island in a rough and  dangerous sea

Christopher Hansard:[ the impulse]

So comes

the impulse

from the deep

before the ancient times

to make each thing

into form

and by having form so display its nature

from the deep

in the essence of

the

deep

came

the

impulse

making and remaking

each event for itself

in this time of year

pause to see

through the stories and the myths

the consumerism and the gloss

into the deep

there all those that came  and come

come to light the way

are but parts of the same fragrance

unknown, known, not known, yet to be known

those few who ever dwell

in the deep

in the impulse

stop,

pause,

breathe

you can smell the deep

taste it, touch it,

hear it

see it, if you want too

the deep

the impulse

the ever

Christopher Hansard:[ solstice eclipse]

the red moon

bathes in earth light

on the shortest

day of the year

this is the time to overcome all of your longstanding fear

invoke the earth and moon

to join as they once were

and in that joining

displace the negativity and pain

earth and moon

bring healing to

the inner world

and the outer too

their reflective lights

merging

to uplift the natural world

Christopher Hansard:[ seeking truth and meaning]

So you want to seek for truth

and meaning-for what life is all about?

sit, be still and hear meaning start to shout

first distant it will seem

the voices and the words

but in time they will be calling

singing

divine words

that can inflame your heart with love and balance

simple and serene

there dwells the making and the unmaking

of truth and meaning

so give your self

the chance to be

be,

be

happy with your own company

and then seeking

for truth and meaning

becomes a receiving

and a blessing

and the mind’s dividing

of truth and meaning

will cease

Christopher Hansard:[ time,space, place]

where are you now?

where do you sit

on the seat or in your thoughts?

are you mind and body

or thought and the thinker

in time, in space, and in the place you are now

all of these are actively seeking you

you who are timeless

you who are beyond space yet made it

you who need no one place

but are in all places

Christopher Hansard:[ the Fisherman]

the fisherman casts his line

hook descending into another world

where life is snared, whole worlds

are dragged towards the light

the fisherman casts his line

and a life is made or ends

cast into drops of becoming

and endless ends

watch and see how the line is cast

making no shadow across the water

that is your mind

like darkened glass from a smoky life

for each of us are but a vapour in the light

some brief plume

the line is cast

reeling in

no hurry or need

in its own time

the hook will bite

the fisherman casts his line into another world

and draws us all towards the light

the fishing line entwines itself

through every age and day, through ideas, beliefs and prejudice

never snags, for it reels itself along the hooped line

to return to a still collected reel

waiting for the next cast

as time washes in and out
