Christopher Hansard: [ it is possible]
it is very possible the world financial situation is going to worsen to the point, that a lot social infrastructures that we all take for granted could be seriously weakened, for in difficult times difficult situations often develop, yet all of us have the ability to change the outcome by ensuring our communities are able to look after themselves as best they can

Christopher Hansard:[ inner world]
Your
inner
world
spins
slowly
on
the axis of
your attachments
each rotation
closes,
or opens a view
into your
Self
see how attachment
makes the mist
that your call
your life
good, bad,
inbetween
all rotate
on
attachment

Christopher Hansard:[ you and nature]
The natural world dwells deep with your emotional and psychological nature, within your body, intellect, instinctual awareness and all your habits, for every tree that is wantonly cut down in the wild so is a little part of us all. Diminish nature and its resources and so mankind is diminished. Nature is the underlying foundation of all our aspects of our well being, you and nature are the same experience.

Christopher Hansard:[ In Uncertain Times]
In uncertain times you need to know what is necesary for your emotional and spiritual growth so that you can build both your vitality and integrity, thereby empowering your self-discipline. As things change rapidly around you you need to look at the qualities of your emotional strength and resilience and improve those areas that are in need of growth. In times such as these, have money, wealth or secured resources is not enough, having mental clarity, emotional balance, good health and psychological resilience are those invaluable tools that will enable you to know true stability and enduring prosperity, for we think prosperity is linked to wealth and money, it has being made to be like this since the late 18th century, but this model is flimsy: true prosperity comes from knowing who you are and what you can do with what you have when everyone else has lost their balance, money or previous lifestyle or is having less, for in the case of human growth, individually and socially, less is more, if you have the clarity to know and express it.

Christopher Hansard:[ the path to your Self]
there is a
path to your
Self
it is not straight
but winding
for it occupies
acts of randomness
and a myriad of thoughts
but if you look
gently but constantly
you can see the path
its edges covered by the
overgrowth of life
and then once you know it is there
it clears and shows you the way

Christopher Hansard:[ all that you have]
all that you have
is contained
in your breath
in your heart
speech and action
everything else is but adornments
baubles, trinkets and diversions
fun as they maybe and delightful for a time
things in the end
return
to your breath

Christopher Hansard:[ Come to the Fire]
come to the fire
and cast away your doubts
burn all your troubles
so in the ash
you will find the jewel
you seek
come to the fire
blessing earth, wind, water
connecting
come to the fire
and know your inner flame
in the spark and in the cinder
is the tinder of your growing soul
let the flames of knowing
rise up
and
illuminate
come to the fire, come to the fire
celebrate
who you truly are

Christopher Hansard:[ sound]
its all around you
its inside you
it hovers in between thought
in that gap between the fleeting now
the definitive past
it hangs
sound
holds
connections
to the material
nature of things
listen

Christopher Hansard:[ Old ways find new forms]
old forgotten things
whether they be wisdom or the ruins of cities past
find new ways to form themselves into the living mind-heart of humanity
old words spoken by fires under stars hang connected
each molecule with a hook of being
old forgotten things make themselves appear as if they were forgotten
so each generation
can find it for themselves
from ombu to skyscraper
to small blue wild flowers
from old stained leather to the finger tips of a new born
hang connected
each molecule with a hook of being
listen carefully you can hear each one singing
‘ the obvious is found in the unseen’
