Christopher Hansard: [ it is possible]

it is very possible the world financial situation is going to worsen to the point, that a lot social infrastructures that we all take for granted could be seriously weakened, for in difficult times difficult situations often develop, yet all of us have the ability to change the outcome by ensuring our communities are able to look after themselves as best they can

Christopher Hansard:[ the path to your Self]

there is a

path to your

Self

it is not straight

but winding

for it occupies

acts of randomness

and a myriad of thoughts

but if you look

gently but constantly

you can see the path

its edges covered by the

overgrowth of life

and then once you know it is there

it clears and shows you the way

Christopher Hansard:[ time ]

time

is what you

believe it to be

it is the adhesive energy of matter

in which

consciousness dwells

making space

perception

and the illusion

of now

Christopher Hansard:[ sound]

its all around you

its inside you

it hovers in between thought

in that gap between the fleeting now

the definitive past

it hangs

sound

holds

connections

to the material

nature of things

listen

Christopher Hansard:[ Old ways find new forms]

old forgotten things

whether they be wisdom or the ruins of cities past

find new ways to form themselves into the living mind-heart of humanity

old words spoken by fires under stars hang connected

each molecule with a hook of being

old forgotten things make themselves appear as if they were forgotten

so each generation

can find it for themselves

from ombu to skyscraper

to small blue wild flowers

from old stained leather to the finger tips of a new born

hang connected

each molecule with a hook of being

listen carefully you can hear each one singing

‘ the obvious is found in the unseen’

Christopher Hansard:[ and so it is]

Did Turgenev ever waltz with butterflies?

or Picasso embrace the shrew?

Did Tolstoy walk with tigers

or Lord Byron dance with wolves?

what of badgers talking with Socrates

or Plato brush the hair of a wild dog?

such things may be possible

and so it is

when Napoleon seduced the first republic

and put it in his shoe and spread his muck across the land

maybe he was seeking a furrow of his ransacked  birth land?

when  Ghandi was happy to slander the West

and Spencer Tracy ripped off his vest

and Raphael would not speak of light

in case Bernini would steal it and put it into flight in marble

and issac newton would discover the sweat of time

and gravity would become a moral paradigm

and Pindar’s verses would become a nursery rhyme

and Adam Smith’s the wealth of nations

the reasons for democracy

you will a rhyme..

‘and so it is’

and, so it ‘is’

for time and space are but the tools of light

and all the colours of thought

and strife

can be found in the lapping shore

where mud wading birds with slender bills

tilt the balance of the world’s trading floors

stop to consider

if Benjamin Franklin ever rolled with whores

while dreaming of an independent shore

or Euclid in his sad refrain

wondered if there was consciousness

in pain

but in the wild shores of

the dreaming coasts

where salmon ran on the hands of ghosts

did the unknown knowers of the ancient times

ever dream of yen, pounds and dimes?

and so it is

Christopher Hansard:[ a time to reflect]

when you feel angry, overwhelmed or stressed,

stop, a take a pause

a time to reflect on why this is

just one insightful pause

scary as it may feel

then continue

is all that you feel really needed ?

it might just be old habits and routines

or unhelpful thoughts making unhelpful feelings

Christopher Hansard:[ each breath]

each breath

you take

brings you closer

to your Self

uncovering

the

wisdom

and the beauty

of who you are

Christopher Hansard:[ suffering]

why do we hang to our suffering

we humans of this world

attached to the chains and to the imagination of anxiety?

it is because we believe our suffering to be who we are

it is not who we are, but vestiges of all that we need to transform

we are not our suffering, but we must acknowledge it

we are not our minds , or names but we we must be use both or change them

we are not the opinions of others -their praise or blame

we are unfolding, constant waves of consciousness in human form

we are not our doubts or fears

nor actions

we are

the unfolding observing self

dancing with delicate steps

upon the waters of the causal world

Christopher Hansard:[ life]

life

flows through  you

that is what it wants to do

allow its flow

so that you can flow too

becoming more engaged with daily work,

events and people,

your discover more of life

when life flows through you

you gain a profound relationship with life

and you bring clarity, depth and balance

to all the challenges that you may face

when you do not allow the flow

life speeds up, out of control

events, patterns, cycles, people, boil over and change

their relationship to you

let life flow through you

and you become life flowing too
